Travel

Our wedding will take place in Algorfa. Algorfa is a small town in the Costa Blanca area of Spain. Algorfa lies on the banks of the river Segura and is approximately 30 minutes' drive away from Alicante Airport. Algorfa is approximately 20 minutes' drive away from Torrevieja.

Airlines companies that flies to Alicante in Europe are Ryanair, Norweigan, SAS, Easyjet, Tap Air Portugal, Air Europa etc. The faster you buy your airline ticket the cheaper you can get it.

Taxi from the airport is approximately 60€, can be less or more depending on where you will stay.

There is a bus that goes from the airport to Torrevieja bus station with the company Costa Azul, it cost around 7€. You can read more here: https://torrevieja.com/en/torrevieja-alicante-airport-bus-timetable/

If you are planning to rent a car there is a lot of rental car companies, here is some; https://centauro.net, https://hertz.com, https://goldcar.es etc.

The prices increase the longer you wait to book, therefore we recommend you to be out in good time.

Accommodation/Alojamiento

There is some options for you when it comes to where to stay. The wedding will take place at Hotel La Finca Golf & Spa Resort and you can stay here if you want to. Our wedding planner Louise can help you book a room, you can contact her through email: enquiries@lyndylooinspain.com.

If you want to stay else where you are welcome to do so. You can book through booking.com, hotels.com and Airbnb etc. You can also get help from our wedding planner if you want help to find where to stay, enquiries@lyndylooinspain.com.

There is four towns you can stay at Algorfa, Los Montesinos, Orihuela and Torrevieja. If you are gonna stay longer we recommend you to stay in Torrevieja or Orihuela. We will stay at the Hotel La Finca Golf & Spa Resort from Thursday to Sunday. After the wedding weekend we will be staying in Torrevieja.

It's in Torrevieja and Orihuela you can find the beaches. The hotel La Finca is unfortunately not near the beach.

We recommend you to book rooms as soon you know that you will attend the wedding.

Hay diferentes opciones donde alojarse durante los días de la boda. La boda va hacer en el Hotel La Finca Golf & Spa Resort. Puedes quedarte en el hotel si quieres y nuestra organizadora de bodas, Louise, puede ayudarles hacer la reserva. Pueden contactarla por email; enquiries@lyndylooinspain.com.

Si quieres quedarte por otra lado puedes buscar hoteles, habitaciones y casas por booking.com, hotels.com y Airbnb etc. Nuestra organizadora también puede ayudarles encontrar donde quedarse, enquiries@lyndylooinspain.com.

Hay cuatro pueblos donde pueden alojarse, Algorfa, Los Montesinos, Orihuela y Torrevieja. Si vas a quedarte mas tiempo y no solo durante la boda te recomendamos que te quedes en Torrevieja o Orihuela. Nosotros vamos a quedarnos en el hotel La Finca de jueves a domingo. Después vamos estar en Torrevieja.

Ustedes encuentran el mar y playas en Torrevieja o Orihuela. Desafortunadamente Algorfa no tiene mar.

Te recomendamos que reserves el habitación cuando sabes que vas a poder asistir a al boda.

What to do/Que hacer

Friday street market/Mercadillo de los viernes

Torrevieja has a street market every Friday between 7am to 14pm and it's pretty big. You can find everything from food, shoes, clothes and toys.

Torrevieja tiene un mercadillo cada viernes desde las 7am hasta 14 pm. Puedes encontrar todo desde comida, zapatos, ropa y juguetes.

Beaches/Playas

There is a lot of different beaches to visit both in Torrevieja and Orihuela. Here are some:

Torrevieja; Beach La Mata (it's really windy at this beach), Beach Los Locos and Beach La cura are two beaches that lies in the city center of Torrevieja. You also have Beach Los Naufragos.

Orihuela; Beach La Flamenca, Beach La Zenia, Beach Cabo Roig.

Hay muchos playas en Torrevieja y Orihuela que pueden visitar. Aquí tienes algunos:

Torrevieja; Playa La Mata (hay mucho viento en esta playa), Playa De Los Locos y Playa Del Cura estan en el centro de Torrevieja. Tambien puedes visitar Playa Los Naufragos.

Orihuela; Playa Flamenca, Playa La Zenia, Playa Cabo Roig.

Shopping mall Zenia Boulevard/Centro Comercial Zenia Boulevard

If you feel like going shopping at a shopping mall we recommend Centro Comercial Zenia Boulevard. Zenia Boulevard opened in 2012 and have about 150 shops, restaurants, casino, bowling and a playground for kids. You can find brands like Guess, H&M, Zara etc. The mall is about 10 min from Torrevieja and 23 min from Algorfa (the hotel La Finca).

Si quieres ir de compras te recomendamos ir a Centro Comercial Zenia Boulevard. La Zenia Boulevard abrió en el 2012 y tiene 150 tiendas, restaurantes, casino, bolos y también hay un parque para los niños. Ahi encuentres marcas como Guess, H&M, Zara etc. La Zenia queda aproximadamente 10 min de Torrevieja y 23 min de Algorfa (el hotel La finca).

Juan Aparicio Seafront/Paseo Maritimo Juan Aparicio

Juan Aparicio seafront, offers spectacular views to the sea and many cafes, restaurants or ice-cream parlours where you can relax in this sunny city. During the nights they have a craft market with a lot of different stuff and also a carnival where you can ride a ferris wheel or try to stay on a bullet while it moves.

En el paseo Maritimo puedes encontrar cafeterias, restaurantes, bares y cafeterias de helado. Durante la noche hay un mercadillo de artesanía y puedes encontrar numerosos objetos y también hay una feria y ahi puedes montar en una Noria o montarse en un toro electrico.
